STREAMING NEEDS
Space content is one of the fastest-growing genres on major streaming platforms. Audiences proven by titles like Apollo 13: Survival, Return to Space, and Countdown: Inspiration4 — but the discovery pipeline for the next generation of space storytellers doesn't exist yet.
SCA Studios is building it. Our competition surfaces compelling new voices — filmmakers with real space industry access, technical credibility, and human stories no other studio can source.

COMPETITION
We are assembling a jury of filmmakers, sci-fi writers, space industry professionals, and creative directors. The jury will be announced April 2026. If you have relevant credits or industry standing, we want to hear from you.
Include your name, background, a short bio, and any relevant credits or links. We will respond to all applicants. Jury confirmed by April 2026.
We are actively seeking film schools, creative academies, and production companies to co-present the competition — offering your students a dedicated entry track, jury seats, and co-branding across all competition materials and press.
Tell us about your institution and how you would like to collaborate. Proposals reviewed on a rolling basis. Deadline for founding partners: March 31, 2026.

Submit free. Win $5,000 cash + $50,000 in post-production + an invitation to the Vancouver Gala + a direct pitch to streaming partners + the chance to work directly with the SCA Studios creative team. There is one inaugural edition of this competition. You are reading it now.

Every filmmaker submits free — no exceptions, no conditions, no gatekeeping. The $250 Premium Submission option is for those who want hands-on support during the competition. The jury sees every film the same way.
